Of course Maureen Juffs won the 'most tickets sold' award ... Thanks Maureen for your relentless and generous efforts. We will be looking for you next raffle time! :)
The winning tickets were drawn at the seafood dinner on July 4th at the Egmont Community Hall. Here are the results:
The Cedar Bark Hat, by May Silvey, was won by Dan Soper (thanks for your support Dan and congrats); The Hand woven shawl, by Krista Silvey, was hand delivered to Erick at the store (lucky Erick!, we are so pleased for you); and the Elk Hide Drum (made by Jalien Shandler) was delivered to Larry Miller, by way of the new owners at Bathgates (cheers Larry, enjoy!).
This was a raffle where everybody won something because all of the proceeds will go to support the citizens of this awesome community (and of course our local artists). The Egmont Community Club appreciates all of your support. Thank you.
